“Thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ‘I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.’”
Isaiah 57:15

Revival, Restoration, Reformation...
are these the terms that ring true for us as members of the universal Body of Christ?
Or do we resonate more intimately with
Appeasement, Accommodation, and Apathy?

In our engagement with others, whether in personal contact or in social media, we tend to toss about words that all too often have one meaning to us and quite a different meaning to those we engage. In America as well as around the world, the true meaning of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been either buried under the weight of contemporary culture, or simply lost in translation.

The foundation of Sounds of Mercy Ministries is Jesus Christ, as He is freely and clearly offered to us in the pages of scripture.  Our vision is discipleship, to see the local church grow and mature in Christ in order to genuinely be salt and light in an ever-increasingly dark world. Our mission is Christ-centered evangelism, not only for those intentionally living apart from God's church, but for the thousands unknowingly inhabiting the pews of America's churches who have been deceived into thinking they have obtained their "pass into heaven" when in reality their eternal destiny is sorrowfully clear.
